Welcome to Yellowjester’s Buhlawg Dawt Calm on the all new server.
I will be undergoing upgrade procedures to enhance my bonetanium support structure. These upgrades will enable me to be even more badass.
*update*
The surgery date has been moved from October 25 to October 22.

On Oct. 9 I will see the anaesthesiologist to discuss the sugery.
here is an illustration of the hardware that will be added

Yep, I fried the power supply on my crappy puter that I was gonna host the buhlawg on. So I was down a few days.
Back up now on the laptop but will have to shut it down later once repairs are complete. Then I will finish the migration.
A tape released Tuesday by Alan Canfora purportedly contains the order to fire at the Kent State University students on May 4th 1970.
Here is a link to a digital version of the recording in question. (WMA file)
I listened to the file and had some difficulty hearing the word “fire”. So, I downloaded the file and converted it into a .wav file to see if I might be able to enhance the quality. When I loaded this file into Audacity, I was surprised to notice that there was a significant drop off in decibel level at the moment the word “fire” was supposedly said. It looks to me as if a crossfade was done at this point in the recording.
Here are some screenshots of the .wav file in Audacity showing the location of this drop in decibel levels. Nowhere else in the recording do the levels drop off in this way. It is almost as if someone edited the recording so that the command to “fire” would sync up with the gunshots following this order. If this is how the actual recording is, then, I would question its authenticity.
I hope that a version of the source is released in a digital format other than the .wma that is downloadable. I highly doubt that this is the only digital source available. I’d like to be able to get a high resolution .wav file to examine and see if this anomaly is present. Also, I could digitally enhance it to make the “command” more audible by reducing background noise and tape hiss.

This is a screenshot of the full .wav file.

A close up with the area in question circled.

An even closer view.
I hacked up the install.rdf and upped the maxVersion on this badboy. It is now installable on FF2.0, enjoy. Oh yeah, I also added the Metal Forum to the forum list.

It’s working, sort of. I have most of it configured but the hardware on my laptop can’t handle some of the more heady effects. None the less, I was surprised that it could run any of it.
Here is a video of what it looks like on a comparable system.
I created a skydome and a cubecap using the Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon album cover.
